david_thrower
Hi Everyone I recently picked up an RB67 kit and I have really enjoyed using it so far both in the studio and for landscape stuff. I've just bought a 6 x 8 motorised back (made by mamiya) but I've just had a thought - do I need to fit a new focusing screen to see the new 6x8 frame lines or will they be visible somehow in my existing focusing screen?. Any ideas please!. Best regards Dave Thrower
mag_miksch
You dont need a new focussing screen but you need the proper revolving back, some are for 6x7 and some for 6x8, the 6x8 revolving backs are labeled 6x8.
Have fun
Regards
Martin
jrs photo
If you have an RB67 Pro SD then you are set. If you have an earlier RB67 then you need a new light baffle behind the mirror and the 6X8 revolving back as described in the previous post. Mamiya can install this. You do not need a new focusing screen.
