martyn_oliver
I have acquired a 5 x 4 Cambo which came without lensboards. I have a good friend whose company fabricates sheet metal items, and he can make me three boards drilled for the three standard shutters. However, can anyone give me details of the correct dimensions (thickness, corner radii, cut-outs at top etc.)? And what typeface is the Cambo logo? (No - just kidding!) Also, I'd plan to have the boards powder coated. Would it be better to make an allowance for the thickness of the coating in the external size and the central hole? (In other words, how much tolerance is there in the fit? Thanks in advance.
troyammons
I have a couple to sell. Why not just buy mine. They are not stamped they are cast. I assume you could also probably machine them from 1/8 sheet alum.

(USA would mean huge shipping overhead.) email me at martyn[at]wordspace.co.uk if you like.
pvp
Here's my drawing for making my own Calumet/Cambo boards. I noticed that I failed to dimension the radius of the corners; I think it's 1/4" but you can as easily measure your camera.
BTW, they machine very nicely from 1/8" aircraft plywood, and the result is strong, much lighter than aluminum, and a lot cheaper. I've made quite a few and never a light leak.
doug_axford1
Don't forget that super wide's need a recessed board, at least that's what I used.
