How to embed images in posts?

Hi, I was wondering what I had to do in order to embed an image in my post

rather than link to it, Thanks

But one question: If I want to embed a picture from somewhere else it says change post to html and add an img tag but does that mean <img>http://farm1.static.flickr.com/175/425175977_68b5adccc9_b.jpg<img> or what? I've tried this and can't see a pic in my preview of the post or am I doing something wrong?

Add the following: <img src="">

 

Then paste the URL of the image between the quotes.

 

Make sure the little dialog beneath the posting entry box ("The above text is..." is set to HTML. You also need to add a paragraph code <P> where you want line breaks.

Hi daveish 182, try this,

 

Select text HTML ..... then .........

 

start with that upper case arrow above the comma on your keyboard, then type img src="your pix URL, like your gallery"> ... don't exceed 510 width. I forget this all the time.
