Posting times appearing out of sync

There's a problem with the servers/database at the PN end caused by the switching of the day on which daylight savings time starts this year. It is being looked into and we hope to have it fixed by the end of the day.

 

There are several other threads on this topic including two on this forum a few threads before this one.

 

BTW, photo.net is so responsive to user comments that we actually sent this reply about an hour before you decided to post the question. See the time stamps if you doubt this....who says customer service is dead!

Hi:

 

For the past two days, whenever I post a comment it appears as though I posted

it an hour or so earlier than I really did. This makes it frustrating as for

example, I will be responding to a comment or question "before" it's even been

asked! I have checked the clock on my computer, and the time is correct.

yes, we're experiencing a few issues regarding daylight savings time. We will try to resolve it

this evening with a quick restart of the database, when fewer people are on.

Would be nice if the whole world could be on the same 24 hour time schedule. It makes no difference to me if I have lunch at 12:00 noon, or at 18:00 hours.
