robin_sibson1 Posted February 5, 2007 Share Posted February 5, 2007 I have the European equivalent i9950. I think both are now superseded by the Pixma Pro 9000. These printers all use dye-based inks. They are very good of their kind, but if you really want archival quality you need a printer with pigment-based inks like the still-vapourware Pixma Pro 9500.
