how much family portraiture do you do from 8 am - 5 pm

Hello,

 

I'm wondering when your clients take family portraits. Obviously they all want

it on Saturday, which is not good if you are a wedding photographer. How many

of your clients actually take an afternoon off from work and get all ready for a

family portrait, or take the kids after school for children's portraiture. In

general how much shooting do you do Monday through Friday, from 8 -5pm

(non-commercial photography)?

Hey there Alain, looks like no one wants to talk about this, so I'll take it on, Not too many families book M-F day time some Moms will do younger not school age kids or moms with younger Kids. However most portraits with Dads, and portraits of extended families happen in the evenings and on weekends. There are exceptions of course but by and large most people cant get everyone togeather M-F 8-5.
