Hi,

Here are some shots for you to enjoy. (All shots done with my M4-P on Royal Gold 400). Happy to have your feedback.

Tippy-Toe, a 2-year-old filly, has her hand in the cokie jar. (f/8)

Flash was waterproofed and submerged. The mare and her baby were drinking and when I got close enough to fill the frame, the baby ran away. With both drinking, this shot might have been sold to one of the equine journals. This would have been a good situation for the 75mm Summilux. Frame would have been filled from far enough back as to have not scared the foal away. (f/4, 1/50 sec.)

Greetings from Arizona! (f/2.8, 1 sec.)

John- John, is that flare? Dunno! "If it looks like a duck, quacks

like a duck....it probably *is* a duck!" I wonder how the Noct would

have handled this one, too. I should have tried a smaller stop and

longer exposure. (Haven't got Photoshop.)

Stefan- I put a "Midi-Slave" in a Zip-Lok bag, along with some rocks

to weight it down to the bottom of the trough. With camera on tripod

at other end of trough, one hand on shutter release button, other

hand held an old Vivitar 2000, plugged into x-sync socket, and aimed

into the water. That caused the slave to fire up at the drinking

horse, which, thirsty as she was after a hot Arizona day, decided she

had to go elsewhere! Also, at approximately 10 o'clock from the

horses head, on a fencepost, 4 feet off the ground and about 10 feet

away, was another slave, one of the extreme wide angle ones, which

highlighted the head a bit better.
