shaun_carter
i've tried ilford and brilliant but found the epson luster to work best. and what i mean by best is the best color matching with my computer screen. how about a quick survey of paper used and your favorite. my printer is the r1800. paul_sokal___dallas__tx
Epson VFA, Epson SemiGloss, Moab Entrada and Kayenta, Museo Silver Rag
gdanmitchell
Museo Silver Rag on my 2200. Only downside is that the paper is not artificially whitened so it has a very slight "warm" cast - though that works well for many prints that I do. michaelging
I mostly print B&W and the Epson Luster gives me the great blacks that I am looking for.
stp
Luster from inkjetart.com that emulates Epson -- same paper for less money.
jtk
Moab Entrada Natural and Bright, Moab Kayenta, Costco's Kirkland glossy (which rivals Moab's Kokopelli glossy, the two blowing away any other glossy I've seen). I use Kayenta as a substitute for Epson's Enhanced Matte because it's just as white and it seems to stay that way longer. I guess I'm lazy...I've become a Moab type of guy. peter_glass1
Ditto John's reply. I mail order Moab it and it quickly arrives. Never a problem with service or quality. I've pretty much standardized on Moab Entrada and Kayenta.
fanta
With an R800 (I believe same inks as R1800) I use Epson Premium Luster Photo, Kodak Lustre E, Epson Premium Glossy Photo. However, to match colors on monitor I calibrated and profiled it, and had custom profiles for those papers made by http://www.cathysprofiles.com/ (US) and http://www.colourperfect.co.uk/index.html (UK).
