derek_linney Posted January 21, 2007 Share Posted January 21, 2007 Could someone who has the Mark II version of the 85mm f1.2L lens confirm to mewhether it is mechanical FTM focus or whether like the Mark I it is ElectronicManual focus. Canon's own literature / websites are contradictory on this and I have justpublished an update to my Canon lens reference data website [<ahref="http://www.gallery1.co.uk/canon.htm">Canon Lens Data</a>] and would liketo get this right. By the way, is it normal for there to be some play between the extending front part of this lens within the barrel? if i gently move the extending part i can feel some movement. is this the case with yours?
