I have Tamron 28-200 lense for ElanII-E, does that work well and give good result with D30? Please let me know and also suggest me different combination of lenses. ronald_moravec1 Posted January 21, 2007 Share Posted January 21, 2007 Nice camera. Thinking of one myself. First try the Tamron you have. Specialised lens are always best. I would do portraits with 50/100mm lenses on that size sensor. Zooms are convenient and keep travel weight down. Canon L series are top quality. Google Canon USA and check available lenses. Canon makes dozens for any purpose you have.
