mike_s10
Hi all, Newbie on here and a bit of a naff first post but here goes: I recently acquired a PB-E1 booster for my EOS 1 film body and have noticed a problem obviously stemming from it. I first tried it with some generic everready AA's whilst awaiting the arrival of my NiMh (2000 MaH, Eneloop). After installing and running off a few test shots and playing with the buttons to check the increase in FPS etc I packed my camera away, I took it out the following day to shoot a couple rolls of film and got a flashing 'bc' error almost straighaway, I assumed it to be the cheapie everready's and took them out to be donated to my wee boy for his toys. I received my Eneloops a few days ago and promptly fitted them, OK at first then within a minute or two 'bc' again, checking the manual it states, (as I thought) this occurs due to depleted batteries OR internal fault, the batteries were fine in my flash unit recycling quickly but I charged them anyway. Refitted after charging and exactly the same, battery reads good (three bars) but after half press 'bc' appears and stays there flashing until I remove the battery tray. It seems that the booster is at fault but I wondered if any of you guys had experienced anything similar and had any idea regarding a resolution? Hopefully, Mike
