Have been experimenting with astia as an option for a low grain slide film after bad experiences with

provia and velvia's color cast issues. Its a bit of a bitch to shoot iso100 slide all day especially in london

light but hey, thats why we got those f2 lenses for! Anyway, here goes. Please feel free to critique

I've had the opposite experience. Color cast problems (especially magenta) in overcast conditions with Astia, and better results with Provia and Velvia. Astia is great in bright sunlight.

I like the color cast and the saturation. Nothing frustrates me more than using a cool, or low-saturation film that produces dull colors that don't look anything like what my eye saw. Latitude and dynamic range seem a bit tight, but that's not too surprising. I generally like the results you got. The first shot is quite nice, the kind of result I look for myself.
