koh_boonwei
hi everyone, i am using a Epson 7800 with the photo black ink. All of my work are printed on matt surface,so i am wondering if i can save abit of ink by changing the photo black ink when it is very low (1%)? to the matt black ink without flushing out photo black ? anyone done it before? will it mess up the whole ink tube ? thank you all in advance! Happy New Year ! Boonwei
dickhilker
I suspect the printer will recognize the change and require the flushing procedure to protect the quality of the subsequent prints. If that doesn't matter, I guess you can at least try.
