Reflex Viewing Hood for 8x10 ??

Friends,

 

Anyone use a binocular reflex hood for their 8x10 setup ??

 

For my 4x5 gear (Linhof Master Technika 2000, Linhof Technikardan, Toyo CF) I

love using my Horseman folding Reflex viewer

 

I find the Binocular reflex hood very easy to use

 

 

In my 8x10 kit: Wehman(light) and Calumet C1(heavy) I use a tube style

focusing cloth

 

I have read of the Toyo 8x10 binocular hood, listed at B&H

 

I am sure the magicians at Steve Grimes could make an adapter

 

Any thoughts ??

While I use a Reflex Viewing Hood for my Canham 4x5, I cannot imagine using one for my 8x10 Wehman. I have enough stuff to carry in the field, the last thing I need is another bulky item, like an 8x10 reflex viewer.

I saw one in NYC... it is very impressive and huge... I know you can find some on ebay a damn price as they are very rare (a few were made).

I am hoping to hear from someone who has used a reflex hood for their 8x10 setup. I am already in the group of 8x10 shooters who does not

 

I already know where to find one, the price is not an issue

 

Perhaps no one uses one, maybe I will be the first ???
