Software for creating Proofing / Selling CD

Hi,

 

I have been searcing for this software for quite some time now but failed to

track down the exact one yet. My requirement is I want to hand over pictures of

an assignment (weddings and others) to my client on a CD. Client should be able

to select pictures for prints and give me the list of images for print.

 

Now, "Image Chest" (http://www.justwave.com) almost solved my problem, but

unfortunately on that clients cannot save their order. My clients typically will

select around 400 pictures for print from around 2000. So, saving their

selection, and loading it later on is important for them.

Can anyone please suggest me a better similar software?

As I didn't get any reply, and neither did I find my required software in the market, I assume that I'll have to create my own distribution software. Luckly I'm a Software Engineer myself and hope that I'll be able to pull it off within few weeks' part time effort.

Please post back, if you wouldn't mind, when you've found or created something that you find works for yourself and the customer.

 

I looked at Image Chest but would be interested in what you create or find.
