patricks
what is the fair price for a mint silver MP these days?
SolaresLarrave
Hi, Patrick! Are you planning on coming back to Leicadom? BTW, prices depend (from what I've seen). If you want to buy it from a store or from an individual. I've seen M7s for sale at very appealing prices here, but MPs... they're staying high: about $2,900 or so. Good luck shopping! stuart_richardson
whoa...that is 700 dollars more than I bought mine new for when they came out (a black one with m6 iso dial)
paul hart
Got my chrome example 4 months ago, 12 months old, for the UKP equivalent of $2600, mint & boxed. That seemed fair for the UK.
aaron_johnston
Bought one off Ebay w/ .85 finder and rewind crank for $2450 just last month.
35mmdelux
Seen a few BP MPs for $2200.
35mmdelux
I might add they were mint, complete, in the box.
johnr1
I'll sell you my mint MP .85 for 2495.00, and throw in ten rolls of fresh Provia 100. John
Bill Blackwell Images
"Seen a few BP MPs for $2200." This is closer to the mark. Without too much effort, you should be able to find a nice MP (silver of chrome) for less than $2,500. But personally, I would opt for an M6, which can easily be found for less than $1,200. “When you come to a fork in the road, take it ...” – Yogi Berra
SolaresLarrave
Woops... It seems I have seen the wrong ones for sale. The landscape looks a lot better than I thought. That's good!
aaron_benner
Don't throw up in your mouth when I tell you this, but I <S>stole</S> bought my chrome MP three weeks ago for $1995. 100% unused, came from a collector who'd been stocking up and decided to dump. Seemed like a "fair" price to me!
pico
keh.com has one for $1,120 in EX+ condition which is Mint in most people's terms. It's not in the box, unopened which what Mint means. So double it and take your chances elsewhere, or try KEH an be happy... and realistic. Best beat the rest to it. I'll bet it is gone by midnight. pje
Pico, there is a M4P in EX+ for $1,120. I haven't seen a MP on KEH in a long time. Also considering that they are selling M7s in EX+ for $2199 I don't think they'd have a MP for less in that condition.
kevin_sido1
I have an MP .58 boxed with cards and also a .72 boxed but no cards. Let me know if you are interested.

pje
Pico, you have things turned around. Those are M4P cameras, (a variation on the M4). There isn't a MP4. The camera Patrick is looking for is the new MP, (new about $3500).

johnr1
Patrick: There's a nice .72 silver MP on e-bay with no bids, I think four days left, and a $1900.00 minimum bid. If you wait until the last 30 seconds of the auction, and nobody else bids, you might get lucky.
eliot_rosen1
$2200 to $2500 as suggested above seems about right. But you are still buying a camera which, unlike the M7, has about the same functional capability as an M6. Good luck on your purchase.
