markplawchan
I found an old light meter, it takes a PX675 (long extinct)...my question: It seemed that the mercury batteries lasted nearly indefinitely in a "low drain" use like a light meter..will the Wein "air cell" have the same sort of longevity? david_papas
I had an old Gossen Luna Pro and was considering these, short life once they are opened. Info here: http://www.photobattery.com/zincair.html For the Luna Pro anyway you can get a convertor from B&H that converts to newer batteries that are better then the zinc air one. markplawchan
Yes--I did that to my Luna Pro also, I just don't want to spend $40 on a $5 meter...
mlynch
Try C.R.I.S. Camera services. (www.criscam.com) These work very well. Although they are somewhat expensive, if you are working with older equipment chances are you will use this adapter again and again.
