seb v.
Posted these on the other forum but I know folks here always like a Nocti pic or two. The more I use it the less I feel it's a 'specialist lens'. With the help of ND filters I can shoot it in all kinds of light. Can't wait for the new film M with the 8000th/sec shutter. leon chang
Can't wait for the new film M with the 8000th/sec shutter. Not sure if this can be achieved with non- electronic bodies....

love4leica
Do you really need Nocti to produce pictures such as these? Please show us the real potential of this wonderful lens that the other leneses cannot produce. This is not meant to be critism, but a suggestion.Thank you. steve_barrett
Dennis, I think your second portrait is especially beautiful!
blakley
I like a lot of these (but then, I'm a Noctilux kind of guy...). Afzal, you could try to reproduce these with another lens; doing so would be an interesting exercise, especially outdoors.
christopher_a._junker1
Dennis, if your B&W shot is available light, f2.0 or wider, it is a perfect Noctilux shot. Great focus, composition and development tone, I hope the bride likes it.

dennis_wong
Thank you Steve.
Christopher, the B&W shot was taken with available indoor light at f/1.4, got lucky to capture the moment. Thank you.
Dennis
dennis_wong
Steve, I really like your color shot, does the 0.85 help you to nail the focus (because it is spot on with such a close distance)? I find it a bit difficult with my 0.72 M6.
Dennis
steve_barrett
Dennis, I'm not sure, but I've read reports that claim the 0.85 is better than 0.72 with a Noctilux. I've only used my Noctilux with a 0.85 M6. I never have a problem getting good focus with my 0.85/Noctilux, even close-up.
