picturesque
Do a search using keywords such as "Gary Fong", Lightsphere, LS, etc. and you will find many, many previous threads. Many in the Wedding Forum use this product. I have one--it does well but isn't perfect (nothing is). You still use different modifiers and methods depending on what you are after. didzis_poreiters
Agree with Nadine above. However, I also suggest to look at Joe Demb's new flash diffuser here http://www.dembflashdiffusers.com/ I have the DFD Pro and I find it excellent. I opted for it over Lightsphere for the following reasons. It is cheaper, more versatile, folds away nicely, one size fits all flashes. I have not used Lightsphere, so cannot compare, but I think in its new permutation Joe Demb's diffuser can do everything Lightsphere does and more. markonestudios
I use the DFD Pro. Excellent product, as someone said before, cheaper, more versatile, more portable.

dennis_mansour1
Has anyone tried the Sock diffuser fron Adorama ? It is material that is diffused and fits over the flash head. It minimizes light loss and soft lighting, thanks. Dennis
d_g5
hey... check out the http://www.harbordigitaldesign.com ultimate lightbox. this thing is absolutely superior to the lightsphere. I have 2 lightspheres and someone sent me a lightbox and I find it much more versatile and the light quality is a bit softer on my subjects faces! That little slender vertical streak of hotspot is all but gone from my subjects in close quarters! Theres like 15 different ways to use the thing! It costs only $36 buying the lighbox and the adaptor for your flash model! The best thing is that you can get a lightbox and then get 2 adaptors and be able to fit multiple flashes instead of buyin multiple lightspheres!
