graybrick
Is it acceptable? "Farshad TAVAN , November 23, 2006; 10:17 P.M. hi , dear ... i like your photos , good shot , Congratulations..... it makes me happy if u look at my photos. Interest : www.photo.net/photos/farshad http://www.photo.net/photo/5188843 Thanks if giving comment and rating." This is posted on a very long series of shots, word for word, cut and paste... I'm just wondering if this is appropriate? Should I, too, adopt this approach to get feedback on my work?

bobatkins
We already have three threads on this now. There are some software issues that prevented me from easily removing the postings and I reported them to the site programers last week, but I've had no response, probably because of the Thanksgiving vacation. Today I looked at the software issues again and found a way around them (note to Philip and Jin - the issues are still there) and managed to remove the postings. namurray
I too received Farshad's message on one of my photos. I wasn't too concerned about it until I clicked on his link and it took me to my list of people I am interested in. Somehow he had added himself to my list. I promptly removed him. Got to hand it to him for enterprise. Pity though, as I thought his photos were very good.
nm
i too got this cut and paste msgs on one of my pics. i left a message for him saying that this sort of a propaganda was unwarranted. Since it was very clear that he was not sincere in his comment, i wanted to delete it, but couldn't find a way of doing it. I can only disapprove of comments on my portfolio, but not on separate photos. Is that true ?
