250mm f4 - How to set shutter speed?

We've just received an older Hasselblad T* 250 F4 lens from Adorama. This is intended to fit on a Hassie

501CM.

We cannot figure out how to set the shutter speed.

Is it a standard speed and you compensate with the use of f stop? Do you need a separate shutter?

Something else?

We'd appreciate any help.

Many thanks

David

A full list of lenses you can use can be found here.
The ones under the headings "C", "CF", "CB", "CFE and CFi" and "ZV CLassic" will fit a 500-series Hasselblad. The "F" and "F/TCC - FE" ones have no shutter, and will not.

Sorry! No articles about or discusions of these lenses there yet. But you will find the Zeiss Lens Data Sheets of most of them there. Just click on the one(s) you're interested in.
