Anyone tried the Photosmart Pro B9180 13x19 Inkjet Printer?

I've read the photo-i review, and it sounds like a good choice. I've got zero

experience with printers. Any comments or impressions would be appreciated.

I have had the B9180 for about a month now and it is a great printer for both b/w and color. The thing I really like is you do not have to change inks between b/w and color as on the Epson 2400 which it replaced.

I've had mine about 1 month, long enough to run out of light gray and light magenta inks.

Works great, I've not had any problems with track marks etc. that some others have

mentioned. I'm waiting for more 3rd-party profiles on paper though - like Red River. Now,

I'm mostly using Epson papers with the closest HP profile. I have not printed any BW as yet,

but 10x12 and 13x19. The prints look fabulous. Highly recommended.

How expensive are the inks? What kind of cost per photo is seen when compared to other models and brands?

I have had mine a month, and so far I think it is superb, but I have only had it a month. Black and white is very good and it is very well designed too. There are a few roller marks on the surface of glossy (HP Advanced glossy) paper, but they are only noticeable if you look very carefully with oblique lighting and to be honest I used to see these with my old Epson 1280 too.

Thanks all. I will probably go for this one, after milling around a bit longer. Bit of sticker shock putting eight replacement ink cartridges in the shopping cart.

Has anyone used it with HahneMuhle papers, i.e. Photo Rag? Have you created an ICC profile? Or have you had a profile made by a third party? It seems I've read that this printer can make its own profiles? Is that true?
