kara_kubala
so today i was out taking pictures and when i got home i noticed ALOT of dark spots on them. Really pissed me off actually. I looked at my lens and it was clean. checked the other side of it.. seems fine to me.. And im hoping to god it isnt anything on my sensor. this camera isnt even a year old yet and the lens has hardly EVER been taken off of it so i dont understand what it is.. heres a pic of some of the spots in a random shot i took to see them. any suggestions of what it could be? and how to fix it?? Michael R Freeman
<i>"And I'm hoping to god it isn't anything on my sensor. How often you might take the lens off is irrelevant. If you use a zoom lens which changes it's physical volume as it zooms (most do), that lens will "suck and blow" air EVERY time you zoom it. That air contains dust, and that air (and dust) winds up in the mirror box of the camera, and eventually on the sensor. It's something you have to learn to live with, so it would be best to learn how to clean it.
