D200 and Memory cards CF

I've had a problem with Transcend 2 Gig 80X card and my new D200.

Has anyone else had problems with Transcend cards? I've used them in

all my other Nikons D70, D2h etc and no problems.

I returned the card and they sent a new one, but I'm not sure I want

to use it. I got burned and lost some pics on a photo shoot with

the last one and no it was a counterfeit one...

Some CF cards simply don't work in all Nikon cameras. I have a 2G SimpleTech card that will not work in a D2h, but works fine in a D2x. Go figure!

You are safe with Sandisk and Lexar cards with Nikon. Anything else is a gamble. Cards can go bad or be corrupted and unreadable - whatever. Maybe you can use this card somewhere else.

The Approved cards as of Sept 2005, they don't seem to update the info often, maybe I call tech surpport.
