john_murphy1
I want to get a frame to hold a fabric scrim, similar to the one used by Tim Kelly in the video section of photo.net. The problem is that there is a dizzying array of products available. What do you recommend? Cost is not an issue.
brooks short
John, Check out Lastolite's Skylite scrims. I have the large 6.5' x6.5' which has an aluminum, shock-corded frame, a diffusion and double sided warm and white reflector fabrics and two adjustable clamps for mounting to two or one stand for overhead or vertical placement. Each fabric has velcro along all 4 sides and wraps around the frame securely. Much better than plastic frames and also better than Scrim-Jims or Mathews. check them out at www.lastolite.com I believe my large scim kit was $
