Any advantage ... aside from the obvious?

I keep alternating between thinking my D70s is all the DSLR I need ... and

wanting to upgrade to the D80. It's not a money thing ... more to do with

rampant consumerism! Aside from the extra 4 megapixels what are the major

advantages of the D80 over the D70s for an amateur?

Larger viewfinder and better auto-focus. The D80 is worth the extra money and should last you a long time. I have had my D70 for almost three years and it has held up well. I will get a D80 or D200 as soon as I get a new roof on my house. For some strange reason my wife thinks a new roof is more important than a new camera. Her priorities are mixed up in my opinion.

I am also in a similar dilemma. Well, not about buying a D80 just yet, but would like to know if there is an upper limit in terms of quality that the D70 can give. Perhaps it's my technique, but I just can't seem to get the sort of quality that shooters with a D200 or 5D are producing. (my interests are only for landscapes)

Maybe someone could please give me a link to a D70 user producing shots like those from Timecatchers, in which case I will be very happy to keep using my D70 and just improve my own work.
