johndc
I currently use Fuji FP-100C pack film in my 405 back. I would like to start using the 4x5 size, but I'm not sure if I can -- the FP-100C 4x5 comes in a 10-pack that looks like a larger version of the regular packfilm, not in individual sheets suitable for use in the 545 holder. Am I correct in assuming that you can only use it with Fuji's PA-45 back, or are there other options? Thanks.
michael_briggs2
I think that this Fuji film is the same format as the discontinued Polaroid 4x5 Pack films, which used the 550 holder, so it should work in the 550 holder, but I have only used Polaroid sheet film, so check further before buying a 550 holder. Since that holder is obsolete for Polaroid films, I guess that used prices should be very reasonable. It would be a lot easier if Fuji would state compatibilty with Polaroid holders on their instant film datasheets, but they don't give that information. jim_mcbride
I have an old Polaroid 550 pack film holder which works fine with the Fuji 4x5 pack film. You can probably purchase a Polaroid 550 on ePrey less expensively than a Fuji PA-45 holder. I don't know much about the PA-45 because I've never used one. The Polaroid 550 is reliable and hard to break.
