Posted October 20, 2006 Share Posted October 20, 2006 I can't vouch for other bargain battery dealers, but I've been quite satisfied with the two BP-511 replacement batteries I got from <a href="http://www.sterlingtek.com">SterlingTek</a>. I've only had them for about nine months, so I can't comment on what their total lifetime use may be. However, at about $12.00 a battery, if they only last half as long as the original Canon batteries, I'll still come ahead money wise. I will say that they do hold a charge longer than the original Canon batteries, so I get more use per charge with the SterlingTek batteries.
