lisa h
Hi, I know that many people here use the Showit Web software. I have checked out the web site (http://www.showitfast.com/) but I am not totally clear if these slide shows can only be viewed online? If I use this software & my laptop to create a slideshow, can I show potential clients the slideshows directly from my laptop without an internet connection? Thanks, Lisa

bdp
The files that are online, start out on your computer, then you upload them to your site. It automatically created the page(s) for you. So to answer your question, yes, you can view them on your pc/laptop w/o a connection. Just keep the files in a folder and click the index.htm (or is it html?) file. stephen dohring
You can even give them the show on a cd. They can watch it on computer only. The newest version not released will have some new updates inculding user burn to DVD but will require a licensing fee.

jefferson_todd_pals
Lisa, Yes, you can view the slideshow on your laptop without an internet connection. But remember that the slideshows will not fill the entire screen. Within the program, on the last adjustments tab you do have the option to display the show full-screen but it will usually not display as smooth for transitions or movement, but it's worth a try.
