The 24-70/2.8 II <a href="http://www.dpreview.com/news/2012/02/07/Canon_24-70mm_F2p8_II_24mm_f2p8_IS_28mm_f2p8_IS">was just released</a> and it does not have IS. Guess I won't make it to Canon's marketing managers team. :-)</p> <p>A point of light comes from Tamron who <a href="http://www.dpreview.com/news/2012/02/06/tamron24-70_2p8_divcusd">just released</a> a 24-70/2.8 VC.
