robert_hurd
Hi, All, Do y'all know of an easy-to-use, flexible arm clamp device, that would support a gobo flag or grey card? I mean to use the card as a Sun Shade/ Lens Hood for 4x5 field shots. Okay...I confess that I'm tired of repeatedly standing up and using my hat to shade each shot. I saw the "Wiggly Worm" product on the Robert White (UK) site, but is that available in US? I already have a Bogen Super Clamp arm, but it is too heavy and stiff for field use. Thanks in advance! robert_hurd
Forgive my answering my own question...but no wonder it didn't come up when I searched B&H for "CLAMP"...behold the PLAMP!... http://www.tripodhead.com/products/plamp-main.cfm Robt. lee hamiel
Might see Nature Photographer's at: http://www.naturephotographers.net/gs.html I picked up a macro set which includes two plamps & two photoflex discs - one a 2 sided reflector & the other a diffuser. I also got a pair of extensions so that if it's windy I might use them to minimize the wind effect on my bellows. Also - Ebony makes a lens shade clip to use a spare darkslide as a lens shade - need to have a shoe mount on your front standard. See: http://www.robertwhite.co.uk/ebony.htm#Labelshade
robert_hurd
Thanks, Lee! I ordered a Plamp and extension from B&H...since I am leaving in a few days. But I will be interested in trying this device for some macro work come springtime. Robt.
