Wacom Tablet Driver and the Photoshop Tool Tip Function

If you have tool tips enabled within Photoshop, when you are using your Wacom

graphics tablet do the tool tips work/pop up? They work if I use my mouse but

they don't work when I am using my graphics tablet. Just curious if they work

for others.

Yes, they do come up. The trick with the tablet is to place the cursor and then move the pen away from the tablet so it stays perfectly still long enough to bring up the tool tips.

Thanks for the hint. From you suggestion I found if I just hover over the tool and then pull up vertically "out of range" from the pad, that does the trick.

For anyone else who is reading this and has a Wacom, be careful if updating to the new driver that was released yesterday which has the new fast user switching capabilities. Regardless of what driver version you have now, make sure to delete it before you try to install the latest version. Honestly, unless you really need the new capabilities, I would not even try to update. Wait for a few more updates to come along first. Maybe it was just me, but my PC did not like it and I had to get a cleaning tool from Wacom so that I could go back to the previous release.
