daveish182
Hi, I picked up a Canon TX cheap as a back-up for my more modern A and T series bodies but the light seals and mirror buffer are badly perished.I dont want to have to pay more money to have them replaced and was considering doing it myself. Can anyone point me in the direction of any info on the internet on where to purchase materials and how to do it? Thanks, Dave. (p.s. I am in the UK)

richard_oleson
Ditto. I'm just about to sit down with one of his kits and a Ricoh Auto Half.....
gnashings
Make that a third - there are others, and they are not bad... but this guy (interslice)is tops. And by the way - its simple and relatively painless, worst part is getting the old crud off your camera. Be patient and use something like a toothpick (nothing metal) to scrape off the old stuff so as not scuff your camera. I strongly caution against any kind of solvents. I would say that a typical 35mm body given slow and careful progress and no prior experience will take you about an hour or less. (probably less with the excellent "interslice" kits)
