bdb
I have a Canon 20D and I'm wondering which color space I should use in the camera - sRGB (default) or Adobe RGB. I shoot in RAW, edit in Aperture and Photoshop CS2 (in Adobe RGB color space) and mostly output to web and inkjet printer (after saving as sRGB). Thanks,Chris
ellis_vener_photography
You can set the camera to either but in reality if you are shooting raw and not jpegs you assign the work space of your choice in Aperture or ACR 3.4 for PsCS2. Have you done enough work in both to fairly compare the quality of raw processing of the improved Aperture to ACR 3.4 or 3.3?
emre
If you use RAW, you might as well select sRGB for the JPEGs so they are Web-ready.
wrfuerst
Chris, i recommend to use Adobe-RGB since it has a wider color space (gamut) and thus would more easily fit into a digital workflow aimed to printing. But sRGB still is fine for being used on the web and for printers based on these RGB-files. regards wolfgang ...
