Is there any Endura type metallic inkjet paper?

Recommended Posts

A sample print on Kodak Endura metallic paper came attached to a

magazine the other day, and I like the looks of it. Are there any

decent glossy metallic papers/cardstock which would work well on an

Epson 1280? For now, the project I have in mind is this year's Xmas

cards.
I have found some multipurpose metallic papers on the net

which state they can be used in inkjets in addition to other "craft"

uses, but am hoping to find photo-quality options actually made for

inkjet.

Disclaimer: I haven't used any such paper so I can't help from personal experience here.

Googling metallic inkjet paper (all words required, not necessarily as a phrase) turns up a whole bunch of hits, at least some of which give the impression that the papers are specifically created for inkjet use. This one, for instance, says inkjet right at the top of the box, in larger letters than the company's name (though it's cold, which might not be what you're looking for). Avery has a metallic inkjet card.

Yes, there are many, but the deal breaker is being "photo quality". Since they aren't exactly cheap, I would rather not experiment hit-and-miss.
Maybe I'll just go for the Red River Complete Sample Kit ($14.99 + shipping). At least if the metallics don't work out (I noticed they aren't included in the Photographers Sample Kit), the loss will be spread out over a variety of papers for which I may find some use.
