bob_labuski
Does anyone have suggestions for photographing birds and wildlife in the Nashville, TN area? I expect to visit there in late September.
glen_johnson
Radnor Lake is a nice area for nature photography, and there is at least one professional who uses it as a site for a photography workshop.
david___4
I don't know how close you are considering "in the Nashville, TN area". But the Land Between the Lakes is about 1.5 hours Northwest from there. I no longer have information on where to get info, but there are lots of hiking areas, and should be plenty of wildlife there.
I also know there is a wildlife ... drawing a blank on what it is called. Not a rescue center, but not a zoo either. It is located in the northern part of the park. Was not able to get there when it was open before I left the area. It is about 2 hours north of Nashville.
Right close to there, between Ft Campbell and the Land between the Lakes is a Civil War battlefield where I have taken lots of shots of deer.
Let me know if you have any more questions. BTW, Nashville has a GREAT Japanese garden which is WONDERFUL to walk through and photograph.
David
