cameron_rautmann___holt__m
Always beware of a study that benefits the organization that conducts the study. I'm not disagreeing with the results, just skeptical, because only good numbers for digital helps this organization's cause.
nigel d
The purpose of that press release is to convince you to pay $16000 for the market research report. To intrigue you, they offer some trends and statistics that would catch your attention but present them out of context to make you wonder how and why they have identified these things. akochanowski
If you don't want to spend $1600 you can take a look at a survey that came out yesterday from Gomma, a photography portal. I started a thread on it today on the Leica Forum. Interesting reading.
justin_goeden
"InfoTrends, the leading worldwide digital imaging and document solutions research and consulting firm..." A digital company doing this. Could we get an unbaised report? I bet the initial survey was titled "digital imaging survey" and 90% of the film shooters closed the email. just a thought.
