eric friedemann
This image requires a little explanation. Some kids had apparently thrown a real estate sign post into the lake. The way the post was submerged suggested a Christian cross, particularly as I found the scene at Easter time. I believe I made the image with a friend's Spotmatic body and 28mm f/3.5 Super-Takumar lens.<div></div>
bishop_vc
...but it is one of the most fantastic lucky shots I've ever seen. Check out this link: http://www.unrealimage.com/pic28476.jpg Sorry. I know this is out of place in a no words thread but I just had to share.
alex_lofquist
I recognize where the photo was taken as I lived very close to that spot for many years. Unfortunately, it does not look this way anymore as the lake has been drained.
eric friedemann
BVC, I'm sorry for the bike rider, but that is a hilarious shot. Al, yes, I just walked around Lake Ellyn last weekend. It is taking an unusually long time to dredge the lake this time.
orensztajn
Bishop that photo is very funny, it seems like the biker felt in love with the light post ;-))))
orensztajn
This was 9.00 AM in Helsinore (Denmark, where the castle of Hamlet is situated). This man was unbeliable drunk, he could not stand, so the nice policemen helped him to move to jail... for a while.<div></div>
