mcsimard
I work as a photojournalist for a local newspaper and a political figure I interviewed hired me to cover as a photographer a private event. The work consist of shooting the event from 7 to 8 pm, making sure every person there has been photographed individually(there will be 25 guests), and a group shot. The deputee will send each of them their picture in a 4x6 format. I have to send an official submission or contract to his secretary; where can I find example of generic forms for that kind of contract? I'm charging him $200 for covering the event, and I told him to expect to be charged around $125 for 25 small prints and one 8x12. That price includes my time spent processing the images. Thanks for your help.
art_haykin
If you are a full time employee for a newspaper, you'd best be sure you may take pictures independently and that you'll own the rights to the images. Your fee seem a BIT low to me, but I guess it's enough if it's a small time event.
