dblohm
I recently purchased a Canon D5. The camera comes factory preset with Color Temp at 5200 and White Balance at the mid-range. I have found that these settings are not delivering the best resullts for nature, scenery, etc. Have you had any experience with this camera (or settings of this type) that you can share? jespdj
Please don't crosspost.
Answers have already been given in your thread in the Canon EOS forum.
dblohm
I posted here first and realized that I should have posted in the Canon EOS forum. That's what you get when you're a "newbie" to posting.
KenPapai
It is a "5D". You were also answered in the EOS forum. Also, a GOOD answer is on page 61 of your 5D manual on the White Balance setting. As we all know 5200 degrees is standard for outdoors sun/daylight. (best answer: shoot Auto WB and shoot RAW)
