These seem warmer, but maybe too much.
joshroot
If you are just looking for a glove layer (and not a full waterproof/winter shell system), I would just get a set of Nike winter golf gloves. Cuts the chill and are somewhat grippy, but not overly sticky. Should run you $20 or so at your local big-box sports store. Maybe less.
2yellowdogs
Don't need to spend that much on a decent pair of glomitts: http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/horizontal-item.jhtml?id=0027388950614a&navCount=0&cmCat=srchdx&cm_ven=srchdx&cm_ite=srchdx&CM_REF=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.cabelas.com%2Fproducts%2FCpod0027388.jsp http://www.duluthtrading.com/store/sale/sale_mens/86109.aspx http://www.sierratradingpost.com/xq/asp/base_no.27782/dept_id.L2~10907/qx/product.htm
disneyry
<p> I got these<a href="http://www.sierratradingpost.com/xq/asp/base_no.55090/dept_id.L2~225/qx/product.htm/"> Glittens</a> and I love them. I have been shooting a lot along Lake Michigan in the early mornings, and these are great. The fact that they are "Windstopper" is what sold me. The one thing I was worried about was how good of a grip I could get with them on, and It's never been a problem. </p>
terence_mahoney
Looks all you need with those gloves is one of those cameras they modified for the astronauts.
mattalofs
I think these cost me $5 at the farm store six or seven years ago. When it's really cold, I just wear mittens over them.<div></div>
jerry_lehrer
Benjamin-- I have found that the thin latex (or non latex) gloves as worn by hospital people or CSI types, really work in the extreme frigid conditions of a La Jolla winter. And they GRIP!

OCULUS New York
I use my cross country ski gloves, by Salomon. They are very lightly lined and have thin leather palms with a velcro strap at the wrist. I believe they are considered racing gloves as they are very well made and were not cheap. Though light, they are warm. They are probably 8 years old now, but wash like a cotton t-shirt. No idea if they are still made, but if you see them at an end of season winter sale, GRAB em. Mine are red shiny stretchy material on the outside with gray leather palms and an embroidered yellow Salomon S on the back. Ray Hull
a._j._valys
I guess, whatever works for you... I use the golf gloves also for driving (cars) and photography, without exposing the tips of the fingers to frostbite.
matt_needham
I look for shooter's gloves at Sporting Goods stores. They usually cost about $10.
