colin jackson
Whoops! I did all the PS stuff, size right, etc. Missed something pretty major! I followed all the suggestions in previous posts and nothing. Will try again later once I've cooled down.

colin jackson
Basically, photo is all configured per previous posts (Oculus, Posting to site...) in PS but how on earth do I get it past that onto this site. I've been looking for links on this page to post photo but maybe am blind.
colin jackson
Maybe it has something to do with "How do I upload a photo?". I will some hours getting that all straightened away. Excuse my bumbling but it all seems very complex for an old dinosaur like me. Hence the leicas, I guess! Stand by...

shambrick007
You may upload an image with this posting. Filename (on your local hard drive) Caption MAXIMUM FILE SIZE 100 KBytes: please do NOT upload full size images from digital cameras. Crop or downsize to a maximum width of 511 pixels. Larger images will not display inline but will appear as a link. Note: GIF and JPEG images are the only ones that can be displayed by most browsers. So if the file you're uploading doesn't end in .jpg, .jpeg, or .gif it probably won't be viewable by most users.
ronald_moravec1
You have to attach the file after you hit submit. Resize it ps to 600 pixels wide and save as a med quality jpeg. Don`t forget a title like anything, XXX, first post. It goes under the file name I think. You will see the place. Called caption.
canfred
Hi Kai , no not underexposed its actually way over. Four stops at least. Joke aside this can be frustrating until you get the hang of it. Colin for instant display it should be no longer than 511 and about 120 kb.<div></div>
Tony Rowlett
Colin, are you able to point to your image file on your hard drive after you click on Browse? You'll get a "File Open" dialog. Remember where you saved it? Find it, then just double click on it and its name will show up in the photo.net filename blank. It's not more than 511 pixels wide, is it? OK, fill in a caption and then click submit. Your browser will upload the file properly to photo.net and the image will show up just like you want it to. Backups? We don’t need no stinking ba #.’ _ , J
Tony Rowlett
I meant "File Upload" not "File Open" dialog. Backups? We don’t need no stinking ba #.’ _ , J
