ae5x
You'd think it would be easy to find film 20m north of Manhattan but danged if I know where they hide it. Arista seems to be the main photo supply store here in the county and they don't carry sheet film in any flavor. Is there such a place (or in Fairfield County CT) that still sells 4x5 Velvia in this area? Thanks, John Harper
jpb
i don't know if they have what you're looking for, but I always found Sam's Camera to be friendly and helpful, you might try giving them a call: http://www.samscameraexchange.com/ ... They have three stores in Westchester.
steve_levine
B&H and regular UPS service, would be 1-2 days tops to Westchester.
noah
I live in the city now, but when I lived in southern NJ I often ordered my film from B&H and often had it a day or two later with normal UPS. They probably sell more LF film than anyone and I've never had freshness or availability problems.
cdewen
I live in Westchester, also. Arista is a 15 minute drive, B&H is a 30 minute drive (if you go when the traffic is light).
marionovak
Yeah, but parking is a different animal especialy this time of the year.. UPS is the way to go
cdewen
B&H's "valet" parking is free, if you spend $100 (a 50-sheet box of Velvia). Parking in Bronxville (where Arista is) is limited. I support Arista as much as possible, but they just can't stock slow-selling LF items.
tom_mccabe
You might also be interested in looking at the J and C store listed with www.digitaltruth.com. They stock a variety of older emulsion type sheet films from Europe (I think), such as Efke (Adox). They even have it in 2 1/4 x 3 1/4.
