dancingdove
Hello; I did search google both on PN & internet and did not find what I need. Hope someone will help. I just designed my business card (3.5 X 2). Used rulers & grids in PS-CS to duplicate & place on 8.5 X 11 document. Bought generic (Office Max) perforated card stock (do not have a paper cutter). Can't get them to line up correctly in my printer (HP 5650)! The templates I did find are pre-designed & do not fit with my design. I need a simple blank template. Would anyone be kind enough to suggest something? anything? Thanks in advance for your time. I am using MS Office Word 2003. Haven't tried MS Excel. roger mitchell
If you have Microsoft Publisher, as part of your MS Office, you can use their templates. Open any one of their pre-configured styles, click on and delete all the objects, and you'll have a blank template that you can do most anything with. It will easily print on common perforated biz card stock. Hope this helps.
dancingdove
Thanx for the re-direction Richard. I must have been really overtired to have missed that!
conrad_hoffman
I use Avery #8869 8-up business card stock, and downloaded the #8373 template that goes with it. Just load the template into Word, insert your design into the blocks, and print away.
dancingdove
Thanks to all. I think one of the problems is pre defined egdes on the perforated card stock. I'll try again when I can get the printer to work again. It has decided to not pick up the paper from the one and only tray. I'm not sure, but I think I need to flatten the card stock. It has somehow curled a bit. Clean the jets, find the right template. You get the idea.
