walterh
Hello, for documentation i need to print many images with the filename (better with the complete path in windows) included in the print or better next to the print in the final printout. It is an easy option in e.g. corel draw but due to established color control in PS I would prefer to stay in PSCS (soon PSCS2) where I do the editing before printing. Any advice how to do this (besides manually copying the filename into the image) ? Thanks for your attention. Walter
paul -
How about PSCS's Contact Sheet II function (File>Automate>Contact Sheet II)? It prints the file name under the image, and you can choose how many (or few) images you wish to place on each printed page.
walterh
Thanks for the quick response. Unfortunately I need the original format for the output. The contact sheet reformats all images to the same selected format.
dennisprice
If you are using Windows, take a look at the page setup dialog box and see if it gives you the option to include "labels". If so, just check that box, and the filename will be printed about 3/8" above the image, centered. Perhaps that will provide the documentation you need. BTW, I could never figure out how to change font or positioning, but maybe you can ;-)
