Rather than referring you to the many times this has been asked beofre let me just answer. No you do not need a slim filter! Even a regular Hoya polarizer does not vignette on this lens on a full frame body. Just buy a normal filter for the lens if you wish. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
