bronica etrs with NPC back

dxphoto

Recommended Posts

Hi, I was doing this under the water.. I got this npc back, no

manual, and the film pack, no manual either. So I figured to put the

film pack inside and put it on the camera. Now, the shutter doesn't

fire. I pull the darkslide of the film pack out, and I pull the

insert out but the shutter still doesn't fire. Since its the first

time I use polaroid film in my life, I am not even sure how this thing

work. I thought I could find some help by googling. no luck. Any

anyone help me? I have wasted two sheets already. And with this back

how can you mount the camera on the tripod? many thanks.

Trying again:<p>

ユ Open latch on the polaroid back<p>

ユ Open polaroid back <p>

ユ Insert cartridge (only goes in one way) <p>

ユ Close back <p>

ユ Close latch <p>

ユ Make sure the darkslide is in the polaroid back now <p>

ユ Pull the black tab out entirely (this shields the film gate while the cartridge is outside the packaging and polaroid back) There's no motor and/or crank that spins out the protection sleeve! You pull the tab by hand.. <p>

ユ A white tab should appear <p>

ユ Put back on camera (make sure it clicks into place) <p>

ユ Pull out darkslide <p>

ユ Set multiple exposure switch in forward position <p>

ユ Crank shutter advance lever <p>

ユ Fire shutter <p>

ユ Pull polaroid from back using the white tab which is sticking out. Do this in an even movement, so that the chemicals are spread evenly over the print. There's no motor and/or crank that spins out the polaroid! You pull the tab by hand.. <p>

ユ You'll notice that after pulling one out, the next white tab comes out for the next picture <p>

ユ Wait a minute (depends on temperature, indications are on the white tab) and pull the grey back off the polaroid print <p>

ユ Don't forget to put the darkslide in the back before removing it from the camera

<em>And got the first image. It a small square on the corner of the film. Do i have the wrong back???</em>

<p>For economy the Polaroid Corp. only produce a limited range of film, and pack formats. The pack films give an image approx 7.3 x 9.5 cm in size. So using a Polaroid film back on any medium format camera with a format smaller than this (i.e. all of them) will only use a small part of the available area.</p>
