broken leica m in India, thanks to all

Recommended Posts

Special thanks to Ilan G. with the useful information, I have talked

with the man in Bombay and he said he can fix it, so I am off to

Bombay tomorrow. It is impossible to find a second Leica m body in

this city (Kolkata), I have been looking for the last 4 weeks and

nobody has one, actually every city in India that I am in I ask, just

to see what is available, and so far I have not found anything.

Purchasing another camera Nikon/Canon was/is my next option if my

Leica does not get repaired, but I am hoping this man in Bombay comes

through. Once again thanks to all, and the lesson that I have learnt

by this expierence is unforgetable..........Michael

I travel extensively all over the globe, and outside of major cities it's pretty much that way everywhere. Spending time on internet Leica forums it's easy to lose perspective of just how infinitessimally small Leica's market really is.
