will king
I tried "Disapproving" a comment on my portfolio and I got this erorr: Not Found The requested URL was not found on this server. First of all before everyone pounces on me, I wanted to dissapprove it not because of any critism, but rather for the language used. The viewer actually complimented me but used a foul language. Call me a prude but I am a Christian and use of the Lord's name in vain offends me. So...can someone help me remove the comment? Thanks ~Will
root
Sounds like something you can report to abuse@photo.net
will king
Well......it's not really "abuse" The guy wasn't trying to be malicous or rude. The words are probably used in his everyday vocabulary. I don't want to cause a big stir about it or "report" him. I just would like his comments to be removed. Thanks Carl. stevemarcus
I think you're being too kind, William. Assuming we are still allowed to delete comments from our Photo Portfolio pages, there's no reason whatsover why you shouldn't be able to delete the comment in question. will king
That's what I'm trying to do but I get that error everytime. That is what "Dissaproving" a comment does right? Deletes it? Or am I getting it wrong?~Will
stevemarcus
Try deleting your browser cache OR simply hit refresh while on your Photo Portfolio page before trying to delete the comment. These errors seem to sometimes pop up because of cache-related issues.
stevemarcus
Will, I meant to say "empty" or "clear" your browser cache.
seven
Or email the poster and present your issue concerning language used; he might empathise and edit the tone of his expression.
will king
Steve Marcus, thanks for the suggestion about the browser cache. I tried that and still same issue. I even tried on 3 different machines and same issue. ~Will
jennifer_spiller
I am not sure why you are unable to disapprove comments. Regardless, I have edited out the swear word the member used to compliment your work.
