alexander_nichols
The N lenses were also much bigger than their C/Y counterparts, which is not the case with ZF and their Ai-S counterparts.
douglas_green1
IMHO, the 60mm f2.0 Macro Planar is going to be a killer lens. Nikon has left a gaping whole in their line for a fast 60-70mm lens that will be the perfect optic for portraiture with a DX sensor - and Zeiss/Cosina have now filled that hole. steven_moseley1
Hi all, I am a Contax & Zeiss C/Y user and have compared my Zeiss 60/2.8 MM macro planar to the new ZF lens in the Zeiss photos. They are almost identical re to all engravings, so I am almost certain the 'mystery' f2 lens is a new ZF 60mm f2 macro planar. I am also confident the wide angle is a ZF 28mm f2 Distagon. Both would make sound marketing sense as the next two releases after the 50mm & 85mm. Cheers Steve.
joseph_wang3
No, it is definitely not a 28mm f2. I am checking the position of f22 in the DOF scale of different lenses from Zeiss and Leica. The lens is set at infinity. CY 35 2.8 at 1.3 m CY 35 1.4 no f22 marking Leica 35 2.8 between 1.5 and 2 in middle, most likely 1.7 m Zeiss Ikon 35 2 between 1.5 and 2 in middle, most likely 1.7 m CY 28 2.8 between 1 and 0.6 most likely 0.8 CY 28 2 between 1 and 0.6 most likely 0.9 CY 25 2.8 between 1 and 0.6 New Distagon between 1 and 1.5 I have to draw the conclusion that the new lens is most likely to be 35mm f2. 35 2 is resonable because the first wide angle of a series should be 35 and not 28. joseph_wang3
For the photo I just posted, you can see that the f22 position is at about 1.3m similar to other 35mm lenses
